Title : The Season of Purple
<\/strong>\u2013 I keep creating not to forget \u2013
I have been working on my installation since my sister passed away due to brain tumor not to forget all the precious memories with close people in life, using salt which symbolizes purification. However, my wife passed away 2 years ago, leaving our 4 year old daughter behind, I am again facing all the memories with and of my family.
The salon is in an area where my wife and I used to live, and it is a place where cancer patients and their families gather. On a path where we used to take walks countless times, there stands a tall purple magnolia tree, telling us it\u2019s spring time each year. It is my hope that my installation may offer a scene like blossoming spring with beautiful purple flowers to people who gather at the salon, who had lost their loved ones, and to my wife and sister who left this world so soon at a young age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
