Limited editions of 20

Limited editions of 20

I created a limited edition of 20 prints using Ricoh’s next generation 2.5D inkjet printing technology “StareReap”. It is a “three-dimensional print using UV ink,” and its reproducibility is amazing. I was most amazed by the reproducibility of the raised surface of the paint. It is a subtle bump but very similar to the original.
This work was exhibited at the Seitoku Memorial Picture Gallery.

There are 20 editions available for purchase.

Celebrate. Pray. Create. – Sustainable Nature and Arts & Culture

Oct 27 (Tue) – Nov 10 (Tue.) 2020
Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery (Tokyo)

The Meiji Jingu Forest Festival of Art is a festival of art and culture held in the Meiji Jingu Forest. The festival includes exhibitions and events themed around the Japanese people’s perspective on.

In 2020, Meiji Shrine will celebrate its centennial.
To mark our first steps into the next one hundred years, and with the sacred forests of Meiji Shrine as its venue, we are proud to present a festival of arts and culture, “Meiji Jingu Forest Festival of Art”. We have chosen the theme “Celebrate, Pray, Create”, and with the sacred forests as its venue, we hope the festival will help in reconsidering the relationship between Japanese arts and culture and nature, and introduce the uniquely Japanese aesthetic to the world.
Outdoor sculpture exhibitions in serene natural surroundings, art shows, contemporary culture programs and many more events will be held throughout the year. And running parallel to these there will also be programs to support regional promotion and revitalization activities in disaster struck areas, and send a message of prayer to the world.
